BMW AMP Subsidy Program Integration
ATMS GEN2.0's BMW AMP Subsidy Integration communicates with BMW of North America with respect to unit movements on agreements, idle days, and subsidy eligibility status.
Based on this information, ATMS GEN2.0 has a color-coding system in place to align with BMW's subsidy eligibility guidelines: eligible for subsidy, in jeopardy of losing subsidy, and ineligible for subsidy.
There are two main components:
- ATMS GEN2.0 notifies BMW about unit movements on agreements. This happens behind-the-scenes. It includes when a unit is assigned to an open agreement or exchange, when a unit returns from an agreement at close, close pend, or quick return, and when a closed agreement is reopened.
- BMW sends fleet subsidy eligibility updates to ATMS GEN2.0. Also behind-the-scenes, BMW automatically keeps ATMS GEN2.0 up-to-date with respect to subsidy eligibility across your fleet. ATMS GEN2.0 has a color-coding system in place to align with these subsidy eligibility guidelines.
You can also manually request an individual unit's subsidy eligibility using the button viewing a unit record.
Unit Movements & Subsidy Eligibility
A unit's subsidy eligibility is based its usage on agreements (in other words, when the unit was last In Use).
Behind-the-scenes, ATMS GEN2.0 keeps BMW informed each time a unit is assigned to an open agreement (including shuttle agreements) or unit exchange, when a unit returns from an agreement at close, close pend, or quick return, and when a closed agreement is reopened.
BMW uses this information to determine subsidy eligibility.
Viewing Subsidy Eligibility in ATMS GEN2.0
Updates to a unit's subsidy eligibility are logged in the unit history, accessible via the History button on the side panel of a unit record. See "Unit History (Event Logging)" for more information.
Subsidy eligibility fleet-wide is kept up-to-date automatically through periodic updates provided by BMW, but you can also manually request an individual unit's subsidy eligibility using the refresh icon (
) while viewing a unit record (or refresh icon (
) when editing a unit on the mobile app).

As far as viewing fleet subsidy eligibility throughout ATMS GEN2.0, a color-coding system is in place to align with BMW's subsidy eligibility guidelines:
- Green = Eligible for subsidy. The unit is either currently In Use or has been In Use within a certain number of days (e.g. Subsidy/Days Idle: 3).
- Yellow = Alert / warning. The unit is still eligible for subsidy, but hasn't been In Use within a certain number of days (e.g. Subsidy/Days Idle: 4), so it is in jeopardy of having its subsidy eligibility suspended if it is not used soon.
- Red = Ineligible for subsidy. The unit is not eligible for subsidy due to being idle for a certain number of days (e.g. Subsidy/Days Idle: 21).
This color-coding is included on the Fleet Hub list of units and the Subsidy / Idle Days column on the grid of available units to assign to appointments and agreements; this grid is sorted by this column so you can prioritize unit usage.
